Into the Unknown: Major Update Again (Sorry)!

Hello everyone, last week I completed the end-of-July Update for Into the Unknown, which is now live on Itch.io and Drive Thru RPG!

I'm sorry I'm posting this again, but after the update went live, Itch.io took all Into the Unknown Project off the storefront (for an unknown reason), which meant my initial post didn't have much reach and Into the Unknown was discoverable in a very important week for the project.  This issue has now been resolved and everything is back on the store front so I thought post the update again.

Now onto the new content. 

First Steps has received a major overhaul of its setting guide, adding much more content and detail to the locations of the Acts. This means that I have added setting guides for The Wraith of Varakk and The Nursery of Preservation. Additionally, the Endurance location has received a significant update to its core NPCS, building out the setting more.

Murphy’s Field Guide has been my main focus this month and has received a lot of new content. 

Added to the Murphy’s Field Guide are the following

• A reworked Human Race, 
• Three new subraces—the Hybrid, the Enhanced Organic, and the Cyborg, 
• Changes to the Cybernetic to work with the new Cybernetic Prosthetics.
• Added Drone Stat Sheets for the Pathfinders' Drones
• The Evoker has received an update to its tech deployment abilities, enabling it to select the damage caused when adding it to the Evoker's path deployments. 
• 5 new Technology/Psionically Enhanced Items bringing the total to 23 
• 20 Cybernetic Prosthetics and rules on how they are installed. 
• Updates to the spacecraft combat system and a new spacecraft creation system.
• Level 4 Tech and Psionic Powers 
• Formatting, Spelling and consistency fixes throughout. 
• And finally, incorporating more of the 5E ruleset so that Into the Unknown is accessible for both new and experienced 5E players.

To reflect the changes made in First Steps and Murphy’s Field Guide, the Demo Bundle has also received some additional content.  

Added to the Demo Bundle are the following: 

• A reworked Human Race,

• Changes to the Cybernetic to work with the new Cybernetic Prosthetics.
• The Guard Background. 
• 5 Technology/Psionically Enhanced Items

• Updates to the Downtime system, including a change of the scanning path to the navigation and exploration route, as well as a new path focused on spacecraft enhancement, 
• Massive updates to the Endurance setting guide, and a new setting guide for Act 2's Location. 
• Formatting, Spelling and consistency fixes throughout. 
• And finally, incorporating more of the 5E ruleset so that Into the Unknown is accessible for both new and experienced 5E players.
